Why do people use Delta-8?

Delta-8 is used for many of the same reasons consumers use CBD and recreational cannabis (Delta-9). Delta-8 provides a calming, relaxing “buzz” for most users, as well as overall feelings of well-being and calm. Unlike recreational cannabis, it is considered non-anxiety causing, and is not prohibited by federal law. Many cannabinoid users prefer Delta-8 over alternatives like CBD or THC because it has many of the benefits of each, without being overwhelming.

What does Delta-8 feel like?

Anecdotally, most users report a warm, elevated “buzz” feeling, often accompanied by feelings of joy or amusement. Food tastes better, music sounds more melodic, stresses seem less relevant, and the day just feels “brighter” is how one user best described it. Everyone responds to cannabinoids a little bit differently, but Delta-8 is well recognized as being a strong mood enhancer, without any associated feelings of anxiety or worry. Most people report that they are still able to focus or concentrate on tasks as needed, unlike some other cannabinoids. Many users report better sleep as well, and Delta-8 can make some people feel more sleepy if they take too much.

How long will I feel the effects of Delta-8?

Many factors affect how long the effects of Delta-8 will last for individuals. Body size and composition is a major factor, so all first-time users should proceed with caution and start with a small dose to see how it affects them.

Edible or ingestible Delta-8 (as opposed to smoking or vaping) tends to have a much slower onset time, but the effects also tend to last longer, up to a period of several hours. While Vybba is specially-formulated to solve the onset time delays of most edible products, it’s effects taper off more slowly, without a “crash”. When using Vybba or any Delta-8 ingestibles, count on having at least 2-3 hours that the effects can still be felt. Be sure to start with a small dose, and do not take any additional Delta-8 for at least2 hours after until you know how long you feel the effects of Delta-8 usage.

Will Delta-8 make me sleepy?

You may have heard of people using delta-8 to get better sleep. The relaxing effects of delta-8 are well-known by people looking to “de-stress”, so some do seek it out specifically as a sleep aid. While some people do report an increased feeling of restfulness or sleepiness, for most people the effects of sleep are not immediately after taking it, as that is when more users report more happiness or euphoric effects instead. Delta-8 is not known to interfere with natural sleep cycle, and it is often reported that more restful sleep occurs if a user has taken Delta-8 earlier in the day or evening. As will anything, different users may experience the effects of delta-8 differently depending on their individual circumstances and dosage.

Is Delta-8 a sativa or an indica strain?

Delta-8 is neither, as these terms refer more to whole plant designations of recreational cannabis (Delta-9-THC). Delta-8 is found in small amounts in both types of hemp plant strains, but the process by which the Delta-8 is extracted and refined from hemp removes it from the classifications of sativa, indica, or hybrid. Some delta-8 sellers do mix or add delta-8 to whole plant extracts or terpenes from specific indica or sativa strains, but the active Delta-8 cannabinoid is not classified as either type.

How is Delta-8 different from recreational THC (delta-9)?

The delta-8 cannabinoid molecule closely resembles the more commonly-known (and legally restricted) delta-9 THC molecule responsible for marijuana’s intoxicating effects. Unlike Delta-9-THC, Delta-8 binds more loosely to the body’s own cannabinoid receptors. This makes it much less overwhelming, and less likely to make the user feel too intoxicated or unable to perform normal tasks. For this reason, some consider delta-8 products to be “THC-lite”, and less likely to inhibit performance. From a legal perspective, Delta-8 that is derived from hemp (as Vybba is) are not federally regulated or illegal, so long as the Delta-9-THC level is below 0.3%. Whether recreational marijuana is legal in a particular state is irrelevant to the legality of Delta-8, which can be shipped to most states that prohibit delta-9-THC.

Is Delta-8 Safe to Take?

Like all other cannabinoids, Delta-8 has no known toxicity level, and there have never been any deaths or serious health injuries reported from using Delta-8. Very few users of Delta-8 report ever having a “bad trip” as is often reported with other cannabinoids, but not everyone likes the feeling when using delta-8, every person is different. A small minority of users report feeling more stressed during usage, and you should avoid using Delta-8 if you are particularly sensitive to the effects of it or any other cannabinoid. You should also never take Delta-8 if you are subject to drug-testing requirements, as it can trigger a positive test result.

Can I get in trouble for buying or possessing Delta-8?

Federal law has no rule banning or prohibiting any possession of a hemp-derived cannabinoid product by an adult, as long as it does not contain >0.3% Delta-9- THC. However, if you have a delta-8 product that also contains significant amounts of Delta-9, you are at risk. Vaped or smoked Delta-8 products can easily be mistaken for marijuana, and only a lab-test would confirm that no Delta-9 THC was present, so users are urged to be very cautious when vaping or consuming Delta-8. For ingestible Delta-8 products like Vybba that are taken orally, there is no risk of such confusion. Additionally, all Vybba products are certified to contain far below the legal threshold of Delta-9-THC as set by the federal government. States can have their own laws regarding cannabinoids like Delta-8, so make sure to check to see if your individual state limits the use or possession of Delta-8. If you are unsure, you can check our Delta-8 State Legality map here.

If I am under 18, can I buy or use Delta-8?

Delta-8 is not recommended nor encouraged for anyone under the age of 18. Delta-8 should only be used by adults, and in states that do not specifically regulate or prohibit hemp-derived Delta-8. Additionally, some states do restrict the use of any cannabinoid by minors. We do not sell Vybba to minors, and do not condone the use of any intoxicating cannabinoid usage, even hemp-based, by anyone under the age of 18. All users must certify they are over the age of 18 before ordering any Vybba product and are prohibited from ordering for a minor.

Can I fly or travel with Delta-8?

For U.S. citizens, there are no current FAA rules prohibiting carrying Delta-8 products on any domestic flight. Delta-8 should not be carried on international flights, as the rules of other countries governing cannabinoid possession may differ. If traveling domestically, it is important to remember that Delta-8 products, especially vapes or smokeable hemp, can very easily be mistaken for federally-illegal cannabis by airport officials, so it is best to be cautious when traveling with any product that could resemble something prohibited by airport officials.

Will Delta-8 cause me to fail a drug test?

Most commercially-used drug tests, such as for an employer or licensing agency, test for the “by-products” of substances in the urine, blood, or saliva of a user. These byproducts are called metabolites, and their presence in a test can result in a failed test. Because Delta-8 has a chemical structure very similar to Delta-9 THC, it produces metabolites that can cause a failed drug test, even if you have never used recreational marijuana or THC. It is recommended that anybody subject to drug-testing not use Delta-8 products, even though Delta-8 is allowed and legal in their state.

Can I buy Delta-8 if I live in a state that prohibits purchasing it?

Despite its federal legality, there are currently eleven states that restrict Delta-8 within their borders. While it may be possible to purchase online or transport Delta-8 products into those states without issue, it is not recommended, and Vybba will not sell or ship to any state that prohibits Delta-8. All Vybba customers are responsible for complying with the laws of the sate they reside in, as well as any other state they may carry Delta-8 into with them.

Is Delta-8 safe to take with my medication?

Delta-8 is well tolerated by most adults, but as with any substance that may have mood or sleep effects, it is best to consult with a medical professional if you have any concerns about contraindications, or side effects as a result of other medications you are taking or considering replacing with something like Delta-8. We encourage all users to take responsibility for their own health, and recommend that Deltat-8 be used only with caution and full knowledge of the effects.

Why is CBD legal in my state, but Delta-8 is not?

A minority of states have laws on their books, unrelated to marijuana legality, that allow for CBD but restrict other cannabinoids like Delta-8. In these states the possession of Delta-8 is prohibited, even if the federal limit of < 0.3% Delta-9 THC is met. We encourage residents of these states to contact their elected officials and educate them on the differences between recreational marijuana and federally legal cannabinoids like CBD and Delta-8. Unfortunately, we will not be able to ship Vybba to users in these states until such time as these state statutes are amended or removed when it comes to Delta-8 usage by adults.

Can I consume alcohol while using Delta-8?

As many users of both alcohol and recreational cannabis can attest, caution should be used when consuming two different potentially-intoxicating substances at the same time. The effects of one can “enhance” the other one, and not always in a good way (AKA “cross-faded”). When using any Delta-8 products, especially ingestible ones with which the effects can be delayed, alcohol should only be consumed in moderation, if at all. Be aware of your tolerance, and never operate a vehicle after consuming both alcohol and delta-8 together if you are not completely sober.

I heard that Delta-8 is not as strong as Delta-9 THC, is this true?

Absolutely, one of the main reasons many former users of Delta-9 THC (recreational cannabis) are switching to Delta-8 is due to the much more controlled, less intoxicating effects. Users of Delta-8 that prefer a much more calm, smooth feeling from Delta-8 prefer it to alternatives that are intoxicating or leave them feeling less in control. Dosing is important, and the same total dosage (in milligrams) of Delta-8 compared to Delta-9 is going to have a much more relaxed and controlled effect. Delta-8 leaves the user much more focused and able to concentrate on tasks than its more intoxicating cousin, Delta-9-THC.

I took too much Delta-8, what should I do?

Many people using edible cannabinoids mistakenly take more than they should, due to the delayed effects of most ingestible products. While Vybba’s faster onset time reduces the chance of this happening, any Delta-8 product can be unenjoyable if too much is taken, or too quickly. If you feel like you have taken too much Delta-8 and feel sluggish, anxious, or stressed, drink plenty of water and wait for the effects to subside. For many users, taking some CBD can lessen the intensity of the effect. The smell and tasted of black pepper may also help alleviate undesired cannabinoid effects from too high of a dosage. Delta-8 has no known toxicity level, so rest assured the effects will wear off, typically within a few hours.

Why does Delta-8 take so long to kick in?

For many users of Delta-8 or other cannabinoids, a well-known limitation of ingesting them is that it can take a very long time to feel the effects. This can make it difficult to judge how much to take, or to plan your experience. Edible recreational cannabis users often feel that a product is not working when they feel nothing for a while, then make the mistake of taking more before the full effects kick in. Delta-8 is broken down by the body in a very similar manner, so delta-8 that is eaten or swallowed can take an hour or more before the effects are felt.

Does Vybba work faster than other Delta-8 products?

Vybba was designed using patented ingredients and a cutting-edge delivery system to solve this exact problem. Unlike most Delta-8 products that are eaten, then slowly broken down by the stomach and liver, Vybba dissolvable strips are fast-acting, designed to be absorbed orally within minutes, not hours.

Can I be immune to the effects of Delta-8?

Some users demonstrate a very high “tolerance” to the effects of delta-8. Often times, these are the same users that have experienced a similar high resistance to the intoxicating effects of Delta-9 THC, though not always. Scientists have isolated a specific enzyme, P4P9 that appears to be related to this high tolerance, but more research is needed to determine what other factors lead toward higher doses needed to achieve the same effect. As with any cannabinoid, you should not increase your intake until you know how delta-8 affects you. You should always wait at least 90 minutes before consuming additional delta-8, until you have determined the right amount for your individual situation.

What are the ingredients of Vybba?

In addition to 8 milligrams of Delta-8, and 4 milligrams of cannabidiol, the ingredients of every strip of Vybba are as follows: Pectin, Hypromellose, Cellulose, Glycerin, Purified Water, Hemp Distillate (< 0.3% D9-THC), Natural Mint Flavors, Sucralose, Cocoa Butter, Hydroxylated Soy Lecithin, Acesulfame Potassium, Sodium Chloride, FD&C Blue 1. Vybba is not a significant source of calories, carbohydrates, or protein.

What flavors does Vybba come in?

Vybba comes in just one flavor, mint. Vybba is for adults only, so we don’t offer it in a variety of fruity or candy flavors that might be considered attractive to minors. The reasons for mint are many, as it is a neutral taste that most people like. It is a flavor that blends well and masks the “earthy” taste and scent that most people associate with hemp. Natural mint is also an excellent ingredient to aid in rapid absorption when taken orally, and leaves the user with a fresh, minty mouth unlike the majority of cannabinoids that have a skunky or “dank” mouth taste. Vybba strips have a fresh, minty smell when using, and leave no sour or hempy after-taste.

Is Vybba vegan?

All ingredients in Vybba strips are both vegetarian and vegan, and Vybba contains no animal byproducts.

Is Vybba Delta-8 non-GMO?

Yes, the cannabinoids in Vybba come only from non- genetically modified hemp plants.

Is Vybba keto-friendly?

While the cannabinoids like Delta-8 are keto-friendly, each Vybba strip contains a very small amount of soy lecithin as an emulsifier, which some keto diet adherents might want to consider if following a strict keto approach. Vybba does not contain any significant carbohydrate content.

Does Vybba ship discreetly?

Yes ,every order of Vybba is shipped by USPS mail in a plain shipping package. There is no signature required for delivery in the United States.

Will Delta-8 give me the munchies or make me hungry?

Like many cannabinoids, Delta-8 can have a direct effect on appetite. Many users of delta-8 products experience an improvement in the taste of food and beverage, which can result in consuming more after using Delta-8.

How many calories are in Vybba?

Vybba is not a significant source of calories. Each Vybba serving (1 strip) contains less than 1 calorie.

Will Delta-8 make me paranoid?

Many people who dislike recreational cannabis because it causes them anxiety prefer Delta-8, as its effects are more relaxing and much less likely to cause them feelings of paranoia or anxiousness with moderate use. Vybba combines delta-8 with CBD, a well-known cannabinoid for relaxing, to further reduce the chance of any feelings of anxiety and enhance Vybba’s relaxation effects.
